I tried Sign Painters, asking people with Signs already on their Vehicles, one of the Famous Car Painters wanted $500 a Skin, people who did Wraps, and just about anybody in the Hot Rod world, but couldn't find anyone to help. Then I lucked up and found Lizton Sign Shop. To make the story short, I designed it, They made it, now my Truck Wears It. A Rusty Sign for a well-used 49 model truck, and the price was a BARGAIN. I will be on the show circuit in 2026 and hope to meet and greet all who want to chit-chat (old school for talk).
This is one great looking rustic sign! I know it looked great on the website, but it looks even better in person. I highly recommend this sign if you love to decorate your living space with sea turtle items.

I saw a Corvette Metal Sign on Amazon that was a perfect Xmas gift for our son who is restoring a '68' CHEVELLE. I researched who the shop owner was and found it was a Custom Metal Sign Shop in Lizton, IN. I contacted them to see if they could just replace the Corvette name with Chevelle for me. Unfortunately they could not due to it being Corvette's own logo. That would have been an infringement on their property which is also against the law. But they offered to work up a sign with CHEVROLET CHEVELLE on it. Through some back and forth messaging the final proof was ok'd and production started. I could not be happier. It is perfection at it's finest. Exactly what I saw and loved on Amazon. I purchased it directly from their shop. Everything was expedited rather quickly and I'm so pleased. Our son will love it. the fellows at Lizton Metal Shop for making this happen. I would post a picture but to say I'm less than techy would be an understatement. Lol. But it truly was a great sign that our son will cherish. This restoration has been a 3 yr project so far and will very soon be ready to head to the custom upholstery shop.

Posting a photo of Roam Sweet Roam "in action". Magnets were glued to the back so the sign can be attached and removed as desired. Passersby like the sign as much as my friend does!
